Washington Workshop

A first draft of the 28 papers commissioned by the LACIR panel was presented and extensively discussed during the LACIR’s first workshop. The panelists learned substantially from the presented papers, and the authors received valuable feedback.

During these days, Francisco Ferreira (Review Panel member) participated in an IADB’s live conversation to talk about the role of human capital investments to combat inequality of opportunity and Ana De La O (Review Panel member), Antonella Bancalari (Review member), and Felipe Valencia Caicedo (Review member) participated in another IADB’s live conversation to talk about their work on various topics on inequality, including the alleviation of poverty, provision of public goods, and adoption of technologies.
